When it comes to preventing AD, nothing is more important than what you eat. The AD Foundation recommends the MIND diet. It’s based on solid science, easy to follow, and delicious!

Sleep Away AD

The key to dental hygiene is brushing regularly, and the key to mental hygiene is sleeping regularly. Try going to bed an hour earlier and reading instead of watching TV or surfing the web.

You know what they say: use it or lose it. And if you want to keep it, there is no better way than to engage in mental activities, like reading, word games or even crossword puzzles.

Get Together

The simple act of being social is remarkably potent medicine. Hang out with friends and family, volunteer, or even join a club. Not only will you make great memories, you’ll get to keep them!

As important as it is to stay mentally active, a remarkably effective way of staving of AD is by doing the opposite—meditating. New to meditation? Consider trying yoga.
